2024 LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan)
School districts receive funding from different sources: state funds under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), other state funds, local funds, and federal funds. LCFF funds include a base level of funding for all LEAs and extra funding - called "supplemental and concentration" grants - to LEAs based on the enrollment of high needs students (foster youth, English learners, and low-income students).

SARC Report / Spanish version
By February 1 of each year, every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school. Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) all local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to prepare a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), which describes how they intend to meet annual school-specific goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities. Additionally, data reported in an LCAP is to be consistent with data reported in the SARC.

Comprehensive School Safety Plan
The University Preparatory Academy (“UPA” or “the School”) is committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all students, employees, visitors, and guests. Accordingly, UPA has instituted a Comprehensive School Safety Plan designed to protect the health and safety of all students and personnel.
